Jennifer Currence is the president of OnCore Management Solutions in Tampa Bay, Florida, where she provides performance improvement solutions that make a positive impact on a company’s culture and their bottom line. She has been recognized as a Thought Leader by the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI) and featured in HR Magazine, BambooHR.com, and HR.com.
Jennifer has 20 years of experience in Human Resources, earned her MBA with an emphasis in management, and holds nationally accredited certifications in coaching (CPC) and human resources (SPHR and SHRM-SCP). She is a professor of management at the University of Tampa and served as Project Editor for the Society of Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) new 2016 Learning System. She is a national and international speaker on performance improvement topics such as Creating a Dynamic Onboarding Program, Developing Business Acumen, and Eliminating your Annual Performance Review. Her book, Developing Business Acumen, is the first in a series of eight books for Making an Impact in Small Business HR published by SHRM.
Jennifer is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and has served on the board of directors for the HR Tampa SHRM chapter. She is a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement and is a graduate of the Leadership Tampa 2015 program of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Her client list includes Coca-Cola, Villanova University, MacDill Air Force Base, and SHRM.
